storm

In freewrite, poetry on June 17, 2010 at 12:56 pm

teach me.
I am not afraid of the lightening
the rain
the thunder

I do not wonder
I believe

teach me.
I am fearless of the tummult
of the thrashing
and the loud sounds

I have Arms around me
and a secret
no one knows
that keeps me smiling
keeps me strong

laughter
and victory

teach me.
how does one contend with thunder?
