polaroid

Snap me a polaroid
Capture the moment
Someday they’ll scatter
Like Ophelia’s flowers

But for one touch in time
Like a swift broken rhyme
They’ll be beautiful

Snap me a polaroid
Mistaking fireflies
For the North star
In your eyes are the Scars

In the cold arms of the night
You’ll find
The Heartbeat keeps you strong
Riding to the storm

Snap me a polaroid
Even distance can’t
Steal the knowing eyes from us

Take this broken melody
Iris, ride the skies
To victory

Dearest,
somehow find a way to take me
And a polaroid
