spring Ondine

In poetry on February 18, 2011 at 11:28 am

I washed my hair
in the fresh spring air, this morning.

I took a dip
in the light, sweet-water breeze.

I was an Ondine
who reveled in wind-water valleys.

I laughed
and the rains of new-ness laughed with me.
